Currency and travel passport
- A travel passport with a validity of at least 6 more months is required. It's also required for children under the age of 12.
- Morocco's currency is the Moroccan Dirham, denoted as MAD or dhs. 1 EUR = about 11 MAD. Import and export of the national currency is permitted up to a maximum amount of 1,000.- Dirham only. We recommend you change a small amount of euros upon your arrival at the airport of Agadir.
- Get information from your bank how to temporary activate the Maestro function for use of your card outside Europe and where to withdraw cash with your credit card. The banks and the airports have ATM machines. Some banks are located at a distance of only 1 km from the riad.
